It’s a BIKE CITY! I did this for the Genessee Center for the Arts Spokes & Ink bicycle tribute show! Or something. Their big show happens on August 25th, and they’ll be selling prints of 45 different entries (including this one) for a while afterward. More info here:

I’d also been wanting to do a Moebius homage since he passed away earlier this year, and this seemed like a good opportunity to do something in that vein. It isn’t based on any one thing of his in particular, but I did keep The Incal next to the desk and felt I should credit him. We love you, Moebius.

Marvel is starting a new Captain Marvel book, but instead of casting some guy from another planet who looks exactly like a human, they’re giving Carol “Ms. Marvel” Danvers a promotion. That’s a good move. Kelly Sue DeConnick is writing the thing, and that’s also a good move. I’m not lettering the book or anything, but I think the concept sounds fun and I dig the new costume.
Captain Marvel #1 hits the stands this July.

It’s Aliens week on Omega Sketchblog, and I drew The Borg. There is very little that I enjoy drawing more than The Borg.
